The rain has come
bringing pain to some
It's an answer for the farmer's prayer of the past.
o! you rude untimely rain it's not just.
Yet i love rain in summer
it forms a pool for the little slimy swimmers
I love it's sweet smell
which makes my nostrils swell
Little johny is singing "RAIN RAIN GO AWAY"
but i pray
"O great rain please stay
wit your gray clouds in this hot may"
The growing naval traffic
in the little venice is terrific!!
There comes the little boy splashing the water
He gets drenched and feels that he can bathe later
The little earthy dwellers come out to enjoy the rain
while the feathery rollers go in to avoid the rain
O! Rain come again with your flashy lightning
accompanying the thunders which are really frightening.
